Nathan Schaefer
I'm a self-taught designer based in Lehi, Utah, with over seven years of experience building brands from the ground up. My work spans branding, illustration, packaging, and apparel, and since 2021 I've been part of the team at IP Advertising & Promotions where I've developed a strong specialty in tech packaging and custom manufacturing. Alongside that, I run GRPHX Studio, my freelance practice where visual branding is at the core of everything I do.
Design history is something I am always learning and drawing inspiration from. Understanding where visual language comes from shapes how I think about where it's going. I gravitate toward quality over quantity and I'm drawn to work that feels considered, with real craft and a clear point of view.
When I'm not at my desk, you'll find me following my favorite sports teams through every season, or out in the mountains with my wife and a film camera. I'm a lifelong fan of cinema and lately film photography has become its own obsession. The slowed-down intentionality of shooting on film has quietly made me a better designer too.
